Today, or should I say tonight, we explore a less known feature of Ableton Live: FOLLOW ACTIONS and use it to create Generative Music. Generative Music is music that plays endlessly with unpredictable and random results. Follow Actions has been updated for Ableton Live 11 with extra functionality as we will see. Become amazed at all the sound possibilities you know wield with this new technique. Later, we will revisit Generative Music and will see another way we can achieve this sort of effect using a completely different method.
