A year ago I followed the Noma Guide to Fermentation's recipe for creating Black apples. I then took their advice about letting those sit in a pear brandy for a year. It's officially been a year, and it's time to check-in!
Also, this episode kicks off a new thing I'm going to be doing called Make it Fast Mondays. In this COVID-19 quarantine, I've been still working my full-time job and I have two small kids at home, so by then end of the day I haven't had the energy to create a full-blown Colin Makes All The Things video. Make it Fast Mondays will be just two minutes of me updating you on something going on in the food world, updates, or me sharing something that excites me. there won't be a lot of editing or B-Roll, just a quick chat.
