Making A Filigree Sphere: A Silversmithing Tip

This video tip shows me making a sterling silver filigree sphere from 20 gauge silver round wire. I could see making earrings, pendants, or even rings featuring these. Making one of these is a little challenging, so this would be more appropriate for someone with significant soldering experience. As always, I use hard silver sheet solder with the exception of the last solder joint. My flux is My-T-Flux.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others, as I've taught people for most of my life. This hobby turned into a fun side gig for me for years while I taught public school.
