Once again I have made a garment that I cannot wear in the heat of summer... during summer. Maybe when winter rolls around I'll actually make summer clothes. My wardrobe really needed a ruffle-y black blouse that I could use for layering, so I made one using a vintage vogue pattern I picked up at an antique shop. I plan to use this in more gothic inspired outfits, so the vintage 70s/80s silhouette with a ruffled standing collar was a perfect choice. Of course, I can also see this blouse working with gothic lolita, ouji, or EGL / EGA coordinates. ________________________ Timestamps: 0:00 Intro 0:27 Pattern and Fabric Selection 3:16 Starting Construction 6:16 AD BREAK 6:26 Neck Band 11:15 Sleeves 14:01 AD BREAK 14:14 Sleeves Continued 19:09 Finishing Touches 21:03 Project Complete 21:33 Outfit 1 22:50 Outfit 2 22:25 Outro ________________________ OUTFIT 1 Blouse - homemade Vest - homemade Bloomers - homemade Crown - homemade Socks - Sock Dreams Shoes - secondhand Jewelry - etsy / secondhand / vintage OUTFIT 2 Blouse - homemade Vest - homemade Shorts - homemade Socks - Sock Dreams Shoes - secondhand Jewelry - homemade / secondhand / vintage ________________________ 🧸🎀 Music 🎀🧸 Intro: Just a Kid by Water Mirrors Until It's Over by spring gang Skipping Rocks by Justnormal Spaceship in Raleigh by Sarah, the Illstrumentalist Sweet Eidolon by Andreas Boldt Licensed by Epidemic Sound Thanks for watching! ________________________ 🌸🧺 Contact and Socials 🧺🌸 Personal Instagram: @the_stitchess Shop Instagram: @softs.ugar My Brand: https://www.softsugar.shop Business Inquires: softestsugars @gmail.com (remember to remove the spaces) ________________________ This video has not been sponsored. ________________________
