Have you always wanted to make round things out of wood but can't afford a lathe? Here's a possible solution, a design used for thousands of years and still (somewhat) practical today!
I had a brilliant time during the making of this video, unfortunately my microphone did not and slowly expired from old age (not too gutted as I found it in a skip many years ago and it's served me well). The remaining footage and patchy audio was beefed up with video and audio shot on my phone and eventually I came up with something vaguely coherent. I'm still far from happy with the result but it's better than nothing and at least shows I'm still alive and filming! Lesson learnt - I've bought both a new microphone and a totally separate sound recorder as a back up.
