Recommended leather weight for this projects is 5oz to 6oz = 2mm to 2.4mm.
2 foot of leather is needed for this project + crossbody strap. (The average length of an adjustable crossbody strap is 150 centimetres = 60 inches)
Hardware:
2 D rings of 1in = 25mm
2 sets of rapid rivets of 3/8in = 10mm to hold the buckle.
2 sets of rapid rivets of 1/2in = 12mm to hold the strap for the buckle.
2 Swivel snaps of your choice depending on the width of the shoulder strap you are going to make. The photo shows a strap of 1 1/2in = 38mm
4 sets of collar buttons
3 belt staples (thread can be use instead) This is to hold the keeper for the shoulder strap.
1 buckle of 30mm preferred, 32mm shouldn't be a problem = 1 1/4in
