Making a Steady Rest (part1)

In this video, I show you how I made a steady rest for my South Bend 13 lathe, using whatever materials I had to hand. During this time I also made a lantern style tool post, shown in one of my previous videos, before I came down with Covid, I'm feeling a bit better now, Please bear with me on this build I haven't managed to explain myself very well for which I apologise.
