This is the second video about my journey into turning my children’s books into an animated series. After I announced this in my last video, my friend Jessica Borutski got in touch offering her advice and we decided to record our conversation. She’s a talented animator turned director/producer in the animation world and has worked on Looney Tunes, Animaniacs, Loud House, and is currently producing her own series.
Skip to the interview: 6:15. Check the chapters below for a better breakdown of my conversation with Jess.
I’m pretty sure the key to a successful video is to be relatable, entertaining, or educational. I think I failed at doing any of these. So, for my next video, I’m going to try to hone in on one or two of those. This is a learning process for me you guys, so thanks for your patience!
Lots of love,
Andrew, Yaya, & Boo
