Making and Using a Tail Stock Alignment Bar

Like usual, I needed a tool, this time being a tail stock alignment bar. As I didn't want to spend a lot on a one-purpose tool from a well-known commercial vendor, it was time to dig through the scrap pile and see what could be made up. Overall the project worked out, I'm happy with the results, and there is plenty of material to make further adjustments should it be necessary down the road.

The plan I drew up was to fit the scrap pieces I had on hand. If anyone would like a copy he or she is welcome to have a copy, but it may need to be adjusted in some dimensions to fit the pieces you have on hand.
