Making custom heater pads and then destroying one

Copying the Chinese for a change. (assuming they didn't copy someone else.) While laminating carbon fibre electrodes onto some experimental membranes, I decided to have a go at making some heater pads based on laminated carbon fibre tissue with copper electrodes. It's a technique I've seen used in many imported low power heating products, and it seems to work pretty well. There's huge scope to customise the shape, area and heat level. I then decided to test one to destruction to see how it fared.
