I set out to make a rose soap to add to my shop for Valetine's Day and recorded the process to share with you. This video goes over all of the ingredients and the step by step to make my Valentine's Day soap, Rose to the Occasion. ❤I hope you enjoy! References are below for soap batter, colorants, fragrance, and general supplies. Referenced in this video: Royalty Soap base oils recipe. Katie Carson at Royalty Soaps has been a great online teacher for many of us and graciously shares her base soap oil recipe in every one of her videos. If you haven't already found her channel and recipe, she is here: https://www.youtube.com/user/RoyaltySoaps Katie also has a great series of videos for new soapmakers, including some lye safety videos that are great to watch if you are new to soapmaking. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1R68zaZHgBU&t=2s Aloe Vera lye water solution: I learned this trick from Ellen at Ellen Ruth soap, also here on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCu2X30DaxV69q9wjKTM6Omw Ever since I tried it, I make the bulk of my cold processed soaps with aloe vera juice, or a mix of aloe vera juice and water. Such a nice additive!
