On eBay they are in China for $25-30. Look at the turnover when searching/purchasing. My motor is 25-30 rpm at 12-15 volts.
I don’t recommend taking it more than 50 rpm. It will turn the handle too quickly and the cutting quality will drop (furrows on the surface will be visible, unless you turn it when the lathe chuck is rotated above 1000 rpm.
