Cyberse combo piles have long been criticized for their bad card design. Their gameplan focuses on mindless body spam, they aim to FTK the opponent, and have zero ability to enter a grind game. The new MALISS deck is the current target of these criticisms, being called out for embodying all the same problems as the other Cyberse decks.
And yet, this view of MALISS has been contested too, by players such as Jeff Jones and PAK. So, is MALISS just some cyberse pile, or can it play good Yugioh too?
