The master of a cargo ship which collided with an oil tanker in the North Sea off the coast of East Yorkshire has been arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter.
The 59-year-old is being questioned after the collision between his vessel, the Solong, and the Stena Immaculate on Monday.
One man is missing, presumed dead, following the incident.
Humberside Police said it had launched a criminal investigation into the cause of the collision in collaboration with the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.
