I’m always on the lookout for beautiful locations to film my wheelbarrow (and DJ sets). They’re a logistical nightmare to pull off - there’s all the equipment to haul in, permits to secure, parents who are obligated to help, and of course, I’m always at the mercy of the weather, which can ruin everything overnight.
This time, a really unique opportunity came up: filming at the Start Point Lighthouse in Devon, UK. So I took a chance, packed up a van with the barrow, some decks, and a couple of old folks, and we hit the road to Devon to shoot the next set!
These projects are so special to me. They’re a way to share music that’s been speaking to me lately, from the deep to the more energetic sounds that I’ve been connecting with. They also give me a chance to share some of my unreleased demos (and inevitably disappoint a few of you when you say you “liked the old version better” 😅).
But honestly, my favorite part is premiere day. I love to check in and hang out with so many of you on YouTube as we watch the set together for the first time. There are always loads of laughs, and an amazing community has been forming as a result - I am so thankful for this!
