Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars will culminate the end of the Multiverse Saga of the MCU, and it seems as if Marvel Studios is going all in on bringing back old actors. Hugh Jackman and Wesley Snipes in Deadpool & Wolverine, Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, and Chris Evans as the Human Torch, just to name a few. At the same time, however, it seems as if they’re laying the groundwork to properly introduce the new X-Men and Fantastic Four for the supposed soft reboot. A soft reset could benefit new iterations of characters like Black Panther, Iron Man, the Hulk, and Thor, with new actors at the helm. Not everyone will or should be recast—Tom Holland as Spider-Man and Charlie Cox as Daredevil are safe bets for staying another decade. Sam Wilson as Captain America probably won’t be recast either.
