This is the 1990 Digital reissue of the LaserDisc 'Takanaka World'. This disc was released a handful of times and I happen to also own the original 81 issue as well, but upon comparing the two the digital seemed to be the best. The only flaw was slight overexposure, which could be fixed during capture and in post. About ~10 minutes of this video is cut due to heavy nudity (lmao).
Captured losslessly from LaserDisc using VirtualDub2, applied filters with AviSynth (including Resize to 4:3 ratio 540p height and QTGMC Deinterlaced to 60fps), finally encoded to 1080p to reduce YouTube compression artifacting and to allow for 60fps when viewing in 720p. Please enjoy this video in what I believe to be the currently highest available quality.
