The Gold Merchant and the Cunning Queen of Hindustan – A Moral Story
In the grand empire of Hindustan, a shaatir malka (cunning queen) ruled with wisdom and strategy. In her kingdom lived a humble yet wealthy sonay ka tajir (gold merchant), known for his honesty. One day, the queen summoned him to the palace and said, “I have heard of your unmatched skill in gold trading. I challenge you to create the purest gold coin, one that even the wisest jewelers cannot question.” The merchant, fearing a trap but trusting his honesty, accepted the challenge.
After weeks of hard work, the sonay ka tajir presented the coin to the Badshah Ki Kahani’s royal court. The queen, known for her cunning tests, secretly replaced it with a fake and accused him of fraud. But the merchant, wise and prepared, had marked his coin. When the truth was revealed, the shaatir malka smiled and said, “You have passed my test. Honesty always wins.” The story of the gold merchant’s truthfulness spread across Hindustan, teaching a lesson in integrity and wisdom for generations.
