Massaman chicken curry is a thai curry recipe. This video shows how to make authentic thai massaman curry. Only a handful ingredients including potatoes, onion, peanuts, coconut milk and chicken in this massaman recipe.

Ingredients:
400 gram chicken thighs
4-5 medium size potatoes
2 medium size onions
2 tablespoons roasted peanuts
70 grams massaman paste
500 ml coconut milk
400 ml water
3 1/2 table spoons coconut syrup or coconut sugar
3 1/2 table spoons fish sauce
5 tablespoons tamarind juice
1/3 teaspoon salt
Tips:
1. Store-bought massaman paste has usually been seasoned. So taste the sauce before adding sugar, fish sauce, and tamarind juice.
2. The taste of massaman curry should be sweet, salty, and a little bit sour.
3. Patatoes makes curry become thicker, so add some water to dilute it. Keep the sauce a little runny consistency for it will become thicker when it is cold.
