A multiday lake effect snow event hit areas with up to 6 feet of snow east of Lake Ontario. The hardest hit towns included Camden, Lee, and Ava where over 65" of snow fell in just a few days. We were in an area from Parish to Camden on the days of 1/4-1/5 with snowfall rates up to 5" an hour at times. There was some orographic lift in spots that further enhanced the snowfall. This is just another event in a VERY active lake effect snow season. January looks to continue colder than average with more lake effect snow outbreaks! 0:00 Parish NY, snowfall rates close to 4" per hour 1:38 Driving from Parish to Camden NY-Whiteout Conditions 2:18 Exploring the town of Camden NY 4:21 2-3 ft snow depth in Camden NY 5:29 Jumping in snow! 5:56 Car stuck on side road- Plow saves the day! 8:30 Stop at a local dive bar near Camden NY 9:13 Snow plow clearing a parking lot 9:55 Walking through village of Camden NY 11:00 Cars buried 12:30 Deep snow in Parish NY 12:45 Truck doing donuts in parking lot #snow #snowstorm #snowstorms #winterstorm #winter #lakeeffect #lakeeffectsnow
