If the eye in your dyneema splice is going to have a lot of friction you can always add a thimble to help strengthen the eye.
There are two ways for you master the eye splice with a thimble depending if one end of your dyneema is fix or not. Both splices work equally as well with the first splice being the easier of the two to master.
Inserting a Thimble into the eye of your splice is not required but a neat option to avoid wear and tear on the rope part of the splice.
