Outdoor portrait session with Godox AD600 SE and the AD200 ProII ,
For the main light, I’m using the Godox AD600 paired with a 44-inch octa softbox. The large modifier gives us soft, wraparound light that’s flattering for portraits. Before even turning on the flash, I always establish my ambient exposure first. This gives me control over how much of the natural light I want to retain in the shot. The AD200 with the Fresnel head it is used as edge light and separation . Both lights are used at very low power settings.
First you have to establish the exposure you want the ambient to render than you dial in the main light and after that the side light.
You can get the same look with 2 V1 flashes if the ambient is not bright or if you shot in shade .
