Material Setup and Model Placement in VCarve and Aspire

In this video, I’ll get into the use of the Material Setup form in the Toolpaths tab in Vectric VCarve Desktop, VCarve Pro, and Aspire.
I’ll demonstrate the use of the Material Setup form to place a 3D component within the material, to blend the component in with the surface of a pocket. I’ll use a file sent to me by a subscriber, with his permission, and Preview the finished piece as he had the toolpaths calculated. I’ll then show you the simple steps needed to correct the issues that came up in the preview. I’ll apply those steps, recalculate the toolpaths, then Preview them.
While we’re in the Material Setup form, I’ll show you how to set up the Home Position, and Safe Z settings for the toolpaths that are to be calculated for the project.
