Mathew Baynton is an English actor, comedian, musician and writer. He has appeared in several classic programmes, from Gavin and Stacey and Peep Show to Ghosts and Horrible Histories, famously portraying Charles II and Dick Turpin as part of the latter.
Alongside his distinguished acting record, he has been nominated for several awards for his screenwriting, having contributed to both Horrible Histories and co-writing The Wrong Mans with James Corden.
