まといの会とは：
2017年7月、同世代の和楽器奏者が気兼ねなく集まれる 〝 場 〞として発足。
会名は、江戸時代に火消し達が自らの所在を示すために使用していた「纏」に由来し、ここでいう「纏」とは各自が背負う所属団体のことをいう。
和楽器をはじめ、和の文化に携わる「纏人（まといびと）」達が、演奏だけではない場において、多様な交流を行うことを目的としており、シンボルマークにはそれぞれが大切に掲げてきた「纏」をそっと持ちより、新たな交わりが生まれる場であり続けたいという想いが込められている。
Founded in 2017, Matoi no Kai is a gathering of taiko player individuals who represent their own home/local group(s). The members come together to form a community named Matoi no Kai, founded and lead by professional taiko performer, Shunichiro Kamiya.
Matoi no Kai performs in different costumes because they represent where they come from (group or region), and collectively perform together to create a unified, dynamic presence.
The current performers of Matoi no Kai come from all over Aichi prefecture, and also from surrounding prefectures like Gifu, Mie, Osaka, Shizuoka, and Saitama.
