[Project Notes]
I have some dried lavender left from the earlier “Poppy” project, so I’ve decided to make an embroidered sachet. I’ve thought about using White Embroidery with cutworks technique. In fact, I’ve tested on several different types of fabric, but I still haven’t found an appropriate material yet. So I’ve simplified the idea or cheated in this project, substituting DMC coton a broder with DMC floss material, and also leaving out the cutworks. I’m still sourcing for the right material for the cutwork project, it’s likely to be the next project after this one.

[Embroidery Time, Relaxing Time]
I'm setting up this channel to do some embroidery to relax and clear my mind from everyday chores and chaos. At the same time, I'd like to have some companionship while working with both of my hands (or both sides of my brain) on the beautiful colors and warm fiber textures.
The amazing thing of working on embroidery is that no one can go wrong with it, as long as some attention is given while working on it. And the best part is that the craftsmanship will get better and better each time after each stitch is being made.
