View the City of Seattle's commenting policy: seattle.gov/online-comment-policy Mayor Harrell join civic, business and community members to celebrate the Spark Block along Third Avenue, a key component of Mayor Bruce Harrell’s Downtown Activation Plan. The event will showcase the newly installed festive lighting between Stewart and Virginia Streets, transforming Third Avenue into an inviting, vibrant corridor for Seattle residents, workers, and visitors. Additionally, attendees will experience colorful murals and retail activations that further enhance the area’s energy and appeal.  This milestone marks the continued revitalization of Third Avenue and highlights the power of collaboration. The Spark Block lighting project is the result of a partnership between the City of Seattle, Urban Land Institute, the Downtown Seattle Association, Clise Properties, King County Metro, and other local community stakeholders.
