Is the Mazda CX-30 the benchmark small SUV? The first Mazda SUV to adopt the brand’s Mazda Premium philosophy, the interior is especially luxurious and this crossover is pretty fun to drive. So where’s the flagship engine? There is no CX-30 turbo in Australia, nor is there a strong CX-30 hybrid. The CX-30 X20 is an interesting unit, however, as tested here, while the G20 and G25 four-cylinder petrols are certainly willing.
Rivals to the Mazda CX-30 include the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Kona, Volkswagen T-Cross, Skoda Karoq and the Toyota C-HR.
