An in-depth tutorial on making a trigger for a puppet mechanism that can be built right into the handle of an arm-rod. Jeff Jantz explains the process step by step. At the end of the video, we will also look briefly at a double trigger design and a very simple trigger design that is a little easier to make.
supplies:
- 5/8" poplar dowel
- Flat ridged plastic 1/8" to 1/4" thick, for the trigger, PVC or plexiglass or comparable.
- Miscellaneous nuts, bolts, washers, and Nylock nuts
- 1/8" cable clamps
- 1/8" O.D. Nylon tubing
- 70 to 100 lb test braided fishing line
- Lobster clasp
- 3/32" welding rod
- 2 part quick setting epoxy
- White lithium grease
