Short ride for a couple of old blokes. I'm on the DRZ400E and Darren is on this Beat 480RR. Been a while and fitness is not the strength of the ride. We head from the Swan Bay end and get onto Old Swan Bay Road. This takes us into Medowie State Conservation Area and sometimes in and out of Karuah National Park along Haynes Road and Quarry Trail. As you will here me say more than once. I complain about the amount of water across the tracks and the high temperature and humidity. We do a loop back off Gold Mine Road and head home on Old Swan Bay Road the way we came in. Enough for us in the summer, but somewhere we will revisit later when it's cooler.
