Here's my full run of the Megavalanche 2023. After a few mistakes on the snow, causing me to get caught in some traffic when it came to the singletrack. I managed to make it back up and pick up the pace on the lower half. There was so much snow this year, which was super soft. After already having the e-bike race and womens race go before us, it was pretty churned up by the time it came to our race. This made it pretty difficult to ride through and on the long flat section, there was no option but to just push through it. Happy with my time and result, would have been faster if it didn't take so long to get off the snow and I didn't get stuck behind so many people on the rocky, singletrack traverse. It really annoys me when people get off to push up a small hill in a mountain bike race that is easy to pedal up!
