How to replace front and rear doors speakers and sound dampening door for Mercedes-Benz E-Class W212, same procedure goes for many newer Mercedes-benz models. This model had the basic speakers with audio 20 unit that’s why I don’t bother too trash the old speakers because they don’t have much value in used market.
If you have better sound system or don’t want to brake the old speakers then you could use bracket like this https://amzn.to/34KEc3O but if you got better original sound system you may consider a change may not be worth it.
You could use many other 6.5 speakers. Here you could se the specific for the speakers I used. For most install in original bracket you need to grind the bracket edges to get good fitting.
