After many failed attempts and frustration, I have finally completed a True Solo game on Cataclysm. Mercenary is an incredibly versatile class that can do almost anything except kill bosses quickly and because of this I ran the Handgun with conservative shot which allows for decent damage vs bosses and supports the Bretonnian Longsword by being able to penetrate shields. My build was very power focused and the Bretonnian Longsword when used correctly is capable of damaging everything in the game to a good degree while staying mobile and defensive due to the heavy attack's block mechanic. Mercenary has the capability of reaching 50% damage reduction just from talents and his shout, making him good vs large hordes and not insta-dying to a stray heavy attack from an elite. This was a very good game and I hope you guys enjoy it!
