Their journey begins with a close look at the quartz float on the surface, which leads them up the hillside in search of the source. To their surprise, they stumble upon a set of old gold mine workings! After gearing up with the proper safety equipment, they venture underground, following a gold-bearing quartz vein that had once been worked by miners long ago.
To test their luck, Jason and Harry break out their metal detectors, scanning the area for promising signals. After a few solid hits, they collect their best samples and head back to the shop to crush and pan them in search of gold. Will they uncover a rich deposit of high-grade gold, or will they be fooled by false signals?
