Writing drum parts can be tricky if you're not a drummer. In this video, I go over a few tips that will help songwriters craft parts that they're hopefully a bit happier with. Some methods help you improve over time while others are more instantaneous that can help out right now.
This isn't really for beginners and assumes you already know some of the basics, but I don't go into advanced details because this is more a mindset approach as opposed to a "follow along" sort of thing.
