Video Not Working? Fix It Now

We continue the performance engine build for my ‘74 MGBGT autocrosser. This time we are putting on the front plate, discussing an interesting theory I have that I have never heard discussed before regarding gasket choices. We look at the cam thrust and how it’s set properly along with discussing a thrust issue I have seen in the past and how I have dealt with it. We look at timing gear alignment and how to check it. Then we finish up with why you should always check your cam timing rather than just lining up the dots and the tools and information required to do it. Check back next week for another video as we wrap up the short block before we move on to wrapping it up and getting it back in the car.
