The Microkorg has 2 oscillators per layer for either 4 voices of polyphony (4 notes at a time) or 2 simultaneous voices if both layers are used at the same time for a richer tone. Oscillator one has a greater choice of waveforms including wavetables from 80s DW synths which were the first to have digital waveforms.
