A live session for developing basic skills to create architectural concept imagery using Midjourney. This tutorial is an overview focusing on exterior architectural design with tips and tricks to help guide beginners.
I encourage you to start with a concept - Specifically a concept of material, experience, or fabrication/construction type. This will allow you to stay focused on the elements you are looking to develop and refine through your prompts.
Next, is the reference image approach. This method uses an uploaded image to reference geometry, lighting, camera perspective and many other qualities of the uploaded image. You can use multiple images to create hybrid typologies, but remember to try and stay focused on your concept during your session. The prompt used in our example is below:
