Of all the characters to have ever existed in Science Fiction none are more interesting, or compelling, than the Primarchs of Warhammer 40,000.
And, being such extremely cool characters, literal paragons of humanity, there is a lot to talk about. Character flaws, massive egos, supercomputer intellect, and the deadliness of an entire nuclear arsenal in a single punch from their power armored hands aside…the lore takes us to some very weird, dark, and mysterious places.
We’re going to look at four instances where the lore is dropping serious hints about the nature of the Primarchs, and even what just may be on the horizon for Warhammer 40K, as it appears inevitable that even more demigod sons of the Emperor return to the setting.
