Day 1 of the return trip: Mindanao to Luzon covers around an Est. 156 Km from Parkway Hotel, AH26, Surigao City, Surigao del Norte to Tacloban City, Leyte. This covers about 153Km drive + 2 ½ Hrs. Ferry Ride from Lipata Port in Surigao City to Liloan Port in Southern Leyte.
Road condition in Southern Leyte & Leyte is good though mostly are 2 lanes in Southern Leyte Part. There are twisties also from Sogod to Abuyog for about 45 Km. Saddle is in Pintuyan, Southern Leyte. Medium volume of traffic from Abuyog to Tacloban City.
Taking time to drive since we are on the way home & don’t want any incidents along the way which could delay the trip. The following POIs were passed:
