🌞Hi there, I am here with a mixed media art journal page tutorial in one of my small spiral bound sketchpads, using handmade collage papers, acrylc ink, mark making, stamping and collage fodder made with our Sketchy Leaves 3 stencil.
I started this spread by adhering some of my handmade collage papers. I picked a lovely palette using turquoise, red and beige tones papers. I combine those with some black and white images to bring in contrast.
I used some white gesso to blend the background and added acrylic ink in turquoise. I did some background stamping with images from Pencil Marks 1 and mark makings with a white Posca Pen and a red Neocolor. For more interest I made scibbles with a black Stabilo All pencil and added even more collage. I also made some white and black splatters to build more depth.
I finished up the page with a botanical ephemera piece, made with the Sketchy Leaves 3 stencil. I will link up a tutorial on how I made these over at the blog
