This a complete tour of my recently completed mixed media 'loose' sketchbook. I have used a variety of mediums in this one and mainly kept to landscapes and still-life pieces. I deliberately tried to use this sketchbook as an exploratory space to push being loose and more playful or expressive with my art and markmaking. A lot of what I tried out in this sketchbook I now use in paintings on paper and on canvas, and I have a couple more 'loose' sketchbooks I am working in because I have found this way of working so enjoyable and stimulating.
