This video is about utilizing a simple band-pass filter configuration on a mix bus EQ to focus our monitoring on the important mid-range frequencies and, in a way, emulate poor playback systems.
If we can get our mixes sounding great in the mid-range (which is easiest to do when we're only monitoring the mid-range), we can improve our mix translatability, especially to less-than-ideal listening systems and environments!
