In this art video, I delve into the realm of abstract expressionism, experimenting with cyanotype-inspired backgrounds we previously painted with watercolor powder. Utilizing fixative on one of the canvases, I explore the reactivity of the watercolor powder to the painted surfaces. Drawing inspiration from The Color Cube, I loosely follow a color palette to guide my choices and expand my artistic horizons. Through this process, I create two distinct abstract paintings, each capturing the essence of spontaneity and creative exploration. Join me on this journey as I push the boundaries of traditional techniques and uncover new possibilities in abstract artistry.
