Miyajima Island has long been called the island of the gods and has long been revered as a sacred place. It is one of the three most scenic spots in Japan with many shrines and temples, including Itsukushima Shrine. This time, I took a walk around Miyajima Island. (Video taken in October 2022) The O-torii Gate of Itsukushima Shrine is under construction (scheduled to be completed in December 2022), so it looks a little unusual, but we hope you enjoy it.
We have taken videos of the low and high tides at Itsukushima Shrine, Hokoku Shrine, the five-stored pagoda, Daishoin Temple, Omoto Shrine, Nagahama Shrine, and other shrines and temples, as well as the autumn leaves, nature, and deer around Momijidani (Autumn Leaves Valley). We shot the video in a bit of a rush, so please take your time and enjoy your trip by referring to the map.

JR Miyajimaguchi Station→Ferry terminal about 5-7 min. on foot.

広島、宮島。海に浮かぶ厳島神社。
宮島は、神の島と呼ばれ古くから長く聖域として敬われてきました。
厳島神社をはじめ、多くの神社仏閣がある日本三景の一つです。今回はそんな宮島を散策してきました。（2022年10月撮影）厳島神社の大鳥居が工事中（2022年12月完了予定）なので少し珍しい姿ですが、お楽しみ頂ければ嬉しいです。
厳島神社の干潮・満潮の様子を中心に、豊国神社・五重塔・大聖院・大元神社・長浜神社などの神社仏閣、そして紅葉谷周辺の紅葉や自然、鹿の様子を撮影してきました。
少し駆け足で撮影したので、旅行の際にはMapを参考にゆとりを持ったコースで楽しんでください。
まだまだ沢山の神社仏閣や、弥山、美味しいものなど伝え切れない程の魅力溢れる宮島です。是非一度この素晴らしい島を訪れてみてください！
