This video explores the background of the WIlliams/Phillips/Nu-Rex Automatic Spark Control device, the first centrifugal spark advance you could buy for the Model A (way back in 1930). We look at how spark timing works in general, what an automatic advance device for the Model A needs to do, and how exactly the Nu-Rex version of this device works.
