In this video lesson, we will learn about the structure of turbulent boundary layers and the two approaches for near-wall modelling, namely the viscous sublayer resolving approach and the wall-function approach. We will also learn how to choose the most suitable approach, how to create suitable meshes for each approach, and how/when to enter near-wall treatment settings in Ansys Fluent.
