THE EXILE RETURNS :
Princess Thoibi of Moirang returns from exile in Burma with her guardian Ipu Naijahanba.
They are accosted by her unwanted suitor, the nobleman Nongban.
Nongban’s jester Soura offers fruit and flowers to Thoibi.
However, the God Thangjing sees that Thoibi is going to be given forbidden fruit
and despatches the Goddess Ayangleima to stop her.
Thoibi tricks Nongban into letting her ride his stallion.
She gallops off on it to her lover Khamba but she finds she cannot stop her steed.
Khamba stops the runaway stallion and is reunited with Thoibi.
