Vini Paes is the creator and editor of the Monophono website, which has been online since 2011. The site focuses on the world of vinyl but also covers general music culture through interviews, news, curiosities, live show coverage, reviews, and movies. He is part of the itinerant collective/party 'Vibes Aleatórias,' alongside selectors Grão and Toledo. Vini resumed his vinyl collection in 2008 and has been DJing exclusively with vinyl ever since.
