Montserrat is a must-visit for most tourists when in Barcelona or the Catalonia region, Spain. It has a natural park with many hiking trails and we hiked Sant Jeroni, the highest peak of the Montserrat region after visiting Montserrat Basilica.
It is around 60 kilometers northwest of Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia region and easily-accessible by public transportation.
